Loyola University Maryland welcomes New York Times bestselling novelist Laura Lippman for the 34^th Sister Cleophas Costello Lecture on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. in McGuire Hall.

Described by the Washington Post as “One of the best novelists around, period,” Lippman is one of the most acclaimed novelists in America today. Raised in Columbia, Maryland, the multiple-award winning author has penned The Most Dangerous Thing, Life Sentences, and New York Times bestseller Lady in the Lake, which was adapted into a miniseries currently streaming on Apple TV. Lippman’s Tess Monaghan series has also greatly expanded the boundaries of mystery fiction and psychological suspense.

The event is free and open to the public but advance registration is required.
