Lenten Retreat in the Ignatian Tradition

Come away for our second annual Ignatian Family Lenten weekend retreat to bask in the Light of the World as we reflect and meditate on the luminous mysteries of our faith. Let this retreat experience with friends and colleagues from Jesuit parishes, schools, alumni networks and ministries, be a gift you give yourself and a way of celebrating a holy and meaningful Lent this year. Arrival and check-in are scheduled between 4:00 & 6:00 pm on Friday, April 4. Please do not arrive before 4 pm as the Retreat House staff will be preparing for the change-over from a high school retreat to our Weekend Retreat. An optional social will be held Friday night at 6 pm, with dinner at 7 pm, and our first retreat talk scheduled for 8 pm in the Chapel. Retreatants are invited to enter into prayerful silence after the Friday night’s Chapel Talk until Sunday Mass at 11:00 am. The Retreat will end after the 12:00 pm lunch on Sunday, April 5th. The weekend will include inspiring presentations on Lenten themes, and opportunities for the celebration of Mass, the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick, Eucharistic Adoration, one-on-one spiritual direction, and optional Morning and Night prayer.
